Toubkal Trek & Marrakech (From April to October)

Day 1: Marrakech

Day 2: Marrakech - Asni - Ait Misane Valley - Imlil (1750 m) – Toubkal Refuge (3200 m) – 5h walking & 1h30 transfer by vehicule

Day 3: Toubkal Refuge base Camp (3200 m) - Toubkal summit (4167 m) – retourn to the base camp - 5h trekking

Day 4: Toubkal Base Camp (3200 m) - Sidi Chemharouch - Aremd - Imlil - Asni - Marrakech - 4 h walking (descente) + 1 h transfers

Days 5 + 6 + 7: Marrakech: at leisure with many activities on offer (on request: Daytime activities-including: Quad Biking, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Horseback riding, camel riding, Henna Party, Belly Dancing Workshop, Moroccan cooking lessons, SOUK Shopping, SPA pampering, …. - Evening activities can include Fantasia show, 1001 Arabian Night (Dinner in an old Arab place with belly dancing and entertainments), nightclubs.....)

Day 8: Transfer to Marrakech Airport for the return flight

Valley of the Roses Tour

Valley of the Roses Trekking / Hiking Tour

7 Nights / 8 Days (Valid all the year)

Day 1: Meeting & Greeting at Marrakech Airport – Transfer to your Hotel in Marrakech (3***) Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Marrakech – Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley (326Km)
Early departure by Mini-bus to the Dades Valley via Berber villages and some of the breathtaking sceneries of the High Atlas Mountain – Lunch in Ouarzazte we continue to Skoura and Kelaa Magouna via Palm-groves and Kasbahs – We arrive in the afternoon to the Kasbah “d'Aït Youl de Dadès” Dinner and overnight in a Berber Guesthouse.

Day 3: Ait Youl de Dadès (Kasbah at 6 km from « Boumalne de Dadès » on the road of te Gorges) - Mgoun Vally- Aguerzaka - 5h30 of walking
Our guides help us pack and get the mules ready then we depart around 8h30 our walk takes us through the Dades Valley crossing rural plantations on the border of the Dades River after 40 minutes walk the landscape changes dramatically from green valleys to desertic terrain – then we reach the beautiful valley of Ouzighimt – Lunch in the Berber village of Ighrem’n’aqdim and we carry on our walk for another 1h30 until we reach the Aguerzaka Village, near the gorges ( we walk with our feet in the water).
Dinner and overight under tents in Aguerzaka, (Ouzighimt Valley).

Day 4: Aguerzaka – Ameskar Valley - Alemdoune – Camping near the rose plantations of Assif Quati – (5h walking)
We leave this beautiful valley and its Kasbahs & Gorges and make our way up via a Pass and a forest to the Ameskar Valley – Lunch then we follow the mule tracks via Berber villages to Alemdoune 1700 m. we set our tents at the entrance of the Gorges of Assif Quati.

Day 5: Alemdoune - El Quati Valley (Gorges de lauriers roses) - El Hot - Boutaghrar –5h of walking
We walk down to the Valley of Roses across the gorges and Kasbahs to the Amejgag village, Lunch by the river near Aznag village then we continue to our camp near Boutaghrar.

Day 6 : Boutaghrar - Timstiguit - Ait Saïd - Hdida - Tabarkhacht (5h Walking)
We hike through the heart of the Valley of roses then we walk down to Aït Saïd then Hdida where we have lunch then we continue to Tabarkhacht. Dinner and overnight under tents.

Day 7: Tabarkhacht - Kalâat Mgouna - Ouarzazate – Tichka Pass - Taddert – Marrakech – (300 km)
Transfer by Mini-bus towards Ouarzazate then Tichka Pass – Lunch at Taddert and we continue towards Marrakech.
Tour of the famous Djemaa ElFnaa Square and the Souks
Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 8: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Marrakech Airport for the return flight to London

BERBER VILLAGES OF THE AMIZMIZ PLAIN

Regular tour guaranteed with minimum 5 persons
Departure of trek during several days of the week and throughout the year according to number of participants

Day 01: Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport - Meeting & greeting by our representative – Transfer to the hotel - Dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Marrakech
Half day sight seeing of Marrakech. Afternoon at leisure Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Marrakech / Ait Zitoun (900 m of altitude).
Transfer to the foothill of the High Atlas Mountains (around 40 minutes drive ) where we will meet our guides and mules. On the way rich farming of cereals and barley. Arrival to Ait Zitoun, a Berber Village situated in Haouz known for olives trees. (Around 3 hours of walking). Lunch on the way . Diner and accommodation in a Berber guesthouse.

Day 04: Ait Zitoun (900 m) - Ait Hmad (1400 m of altitude).
After breakfast, we continue towards the Tizgui Village, from where we will appreciate the nice panoramic view of the Haouz plain and the Amizmiz Region. We will cross the Ait Ahmad pass where at its feet we will discover a terasse farming and the villages at mountains flank. (around 5 hours walking).
Lunch on the way and overnight in a Berber guesthouse .Ait Ahmad: A village constructed with clay and stones in the middle of mineral landscape at 1200 m altitude. This village counts about 200 inhabitants. Life is based essentially on irrigation farming: fruit trees, cereals, legumes and animal breeding.

Day 05: Ait Hmad (1400 m) - Imi n’Talat (1500 m of altitude).
We continue on the left bank of Amizmiz River. We will discover the local life style of the Berber villages we cross: traditional agriculture, pastoral life, women workshops. We will arrive in the middle of the afternoon to the Berber guesthouse where we will take a Moroccan bath (Hammam). We will discover also the traditional bread making at our host’s house. Lunch en the route and dinner in the Berber guesthouse (Around 5 hours walking).
Imi n’Tala: A large Berber village situated on a mountain flake and exposed to the right bank of the Amezmiz valley which provides to this village a rich agriculture . Unfortunately none of theses villages has electricity nor water but inhabitants’ hospitality remains legendary.

Day 06: Imin’Tala - Forester house - Marrakech
We make our way to Marrakech via Berber villages and valley of the Atlas Mountains (around 4 hours walking). Diner and overnight at hotel in Marrakech.

Day 07: Marrakech
Day at leisure - Diner and overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Marrakech / Departure
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Marrakech Airport - Assistance with return flight formalities

Guaranteed departures with Minimum 5 persons and Maximum 15 persons.
